Integrity in My Walk, My Talk – 4

Every Sunday somewhere, the message of salvation is preached; that Jesus Christ is a Savior looking for people of faith [Rom. 8:3, 4; 10:9,10].

Faith is the door through which we leave “feeling” behind and walk into newness of life [Rom. 6:4-7; 10:14-17; 2 Cor. 5:17].

Faith is God’s gift, like grace and mercy; not earned by our good deeds but received based on our trust in God’s Word [Rom. 4:4, 5;12:3].

“Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him” (Heb. 11:6 CSB).

“Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every hindrance and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, 2 keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Heb. 12:1, 2 CSB).

Integrity is a walk of faith; our words and actions rely on a heart of integrity (righteousness).
