My Conscience: “We know you’re a writer, John. You’ve written a trilogy for teens called, Dragon Riders of The Realm. And you’ve written a men’s Bible study on integrity, entitled Integrity and God’s Man. Where can people get your books?”
John: “Both my trilogy for teens and my Bible study are available from Amazon, and from Barnes and Noble Booksellers. Friends can also order them directly from the publisher: Dragon Riders of The Realm from Xulon Press; and Integrity and God’s Man from Westbow Press.”
My Conscience: “Are you presently writing any more books?”
John: “Yes. I’m working on a devotional book on the theme of integrity, with a launch date of July/August of 2023. I’m also planning to turn my trilogy into a series, hoping that Book Four will come out in December, 2023.”
My Conscience: “That’s a pretty aggressive schedule! Especially for two books!”
John: “Yes, I feel the pressure. But God is placing a burden on my heart for men. Men are in trouble because of porn, drugs, work-related stress, and America’s present woes. I know I have something helpful for them, if they’ll read it and think about it.”
My Conscience: “What if you don’t make these ‘deadlines’ you’ve set?”
John: “I think I will make them. I just pray that what I’m writing is relevant and hits ‘Home.’ Devotions are usually snapshots of a truth from God’s Word. Kind of like the Proverbs of Solomon. Not that short, but just long enough for a person to ‘Read and Go!'”
My Conscience: “Well, John, we’re looking forward to seeing these books in print. Do you plan to go with a traditional publisher?”
John: “Yes. Either with a traditional publisher or maybe I’ll publish them myself. I’d prefer a traditional publisher, but we’ll see if I get any offers after I write a great book proposal.”
My Conscience: “God’s best to you, John. We’ll be praying for you to know and do the Father’s will. Thanks for your time and the update.”
