“He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west” (NLT).
No one is capable of removing our mistakes and flubs from our hearts but God!
No one on earth or in heaven, except Jesus Christ, has the ability to lift our sins from our backs, and replace them with His grace and peace!
Someone may think that the distance from east to west is to simply go backward. Like in a circle, instead of going all the way around to the last point; simply step back to the place that is one step before the beginning, and you’re there!
But in God’s economy, He says ‘don’t go back.‘ Bury your past. Move forward and onward, and through-ward! Allow God to walk you through this entire life, safe in His arms! East and West do not connect. East is always East, and West is always West.
In other words, East goes on for infinity, and West goes on for infinity. But God steps in and changes the outcome of our sinful lifestyles. He divinely 🛑 STOPS the impossible, and makes it possible for us to start a new path, a new life, in Him!
God promises we never have to go back, under sin’s heavy burden. We are free in Christ, from day one of conversion, into eternity!
So, rejoice!
