In Other Words – Ps. 103:13

“The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him.” (Lk. 15:11-32; Heb. 12:5-11).

A good father loves his children by playing with them, listening to them, encouraging them, giving them support in times of need, disciplining them as needed, and checking on them when they’re at someone else’s home. A good father teaches his children good manners, ediquette, social skills, and prepares them for life’s challenges. A good father listens to his wife (if married, partnered) and if single, also works with those helping to build strong character in the chilldren (whether they’re young or adults).

God is a Father who cares, and shows compassion and mercy on His children!
